Making the right decision
In life and in financial advice, we often ask – and are asked by other – the question,
“How do you make the right decision?”
For me, it comes down to one thing: Have I provided the best advice to each client today?
I take my responsibilities seriously and I’m pretty good at delivering all manner of financial planning advice, investment and protection in equal measure. However, where I believe I excel for my clients is in later life planning. Being of that vintage myself I have for many years looked to secure my clients financial future.
I have been witness to many families who suffered the financial and emotional consequences of a loved one dying suddenly with no later life planning in place. Homes and assets at risk, unwanted legal claims, increased probate costs, standard of living under threat and money problems. None of us particularly wish to plan for death, but sadly none of us is immune either.
How I help you
I help my clients in several ways; by advising them on their overall financial situation, there tax-efficient Estate Planning and effective use of all tax allowances which include investments and pension. It is hard to predict the knowns and unknowns however we can by making a Will, having clear Power of Attorney wishes and the opportunity to plan for care home costs – I know, all that’s a bit much and we haven’t even met yet!
